PingDay (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the PingDay mobile application (the “App”).

2.1 Location Information

PingDay collects precise location data only when you explicitly start a location sharing session within the App.

Location data is used solely to:

• Provide real-time location sharing
• Enable temporary and family-based sharing features
• Maintain active sharing sessions for the selected duration

We also want to be clear about what we do not do:

• Location data is collected only during an active sharing session initiated by you.
• PingDay does not continuously track your location in the background outside of active sharing sessions.
• If background location access is enabled on your device, it is used strictly to maintain an active sharing session initiated by you and stops automatically when the session ends.
• Location updates automatically stop when the sharing session ends.
• Location data is shared only with users you explicitly invite through a sharing link.
• We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize location data.

You may disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.
